(PTI) Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has started production of Bharat Stage (BS)-VI fuel in all its four refineries to conform to the new fuel norms from April 1, 2020. R Ramachandran, director, refineries of BPCL, told FE that they have already started the production of BS-VI fuel from the first week of November to keep the system flushed with the fuel for timely delivery, whenever required. “The tankages and facilities are being converted to carry the new fuel. (Livemint) The Indian economy is not showing signs of bottoming out. Growth in the September quarter slowed for the sixth consecutive time to 4.5%, the lowest since March 2013, as manufacturing output contracted, according to data released on Friday. The fall in the GDP growth rate from 5% in the previous quarter will likely ratchet up the clamour for a fiscal stimulus. (ET) India’s state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) today announced it has successfully raised $300 million through its maiden offer of Dollar bonds. The funds will help meet capital expenditure in line with the External Commercial Borrowing (ECB) guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India. “The bonds will bear a coupon of 3.375% and will mature in 2029.
