None of companies, authorised to sell FASTags, has approached the State Transport Department for the opening of the sale counter to facilitate the applicants, officials said. The vehicles owners, however, have heaved a sigh of relief as the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways has extended the deadline for toll collection at toll plazas through FASTag stickers from December 1 to 15. Coal off-take for November 2019 grew by almost 17% on a month-on-month comparison. (ET) The petroleum ministry has asked oil marketing companies Bharat Petroleum and Indian Oil to recover Rs 108 crore from its employees after the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) found that these companies had given pre-loaded cards and vouchers to them on completion of 15, 20 and 25 years of service in violation of rules.
