(ET) The NITI Aayog has proposed a common nodal energy ministry on the lines of the model followed in various other countries to streamline governance among different ministries and departments pertaining to the crucial sector and speed up decision-making. The Aayog, the government’s premier think tank, has included the proposal in its second draft of the National Energy Policy following suggestions from its vice chairman Rajiv Kumar. (Hindustan) उत्तर प्रदेश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में गुरुवार से लगातार हो रही बारिश से करीब 60 लोगों की मौत हो गई। सर्वाधिक 11 मौतें सहारनपुर में हुई हैं। राहत आयुक्त कार्यालय के प्रवक्ता के मुताबिक पिछले दो दिनों में अब तक 49 लोगों को अपनी जान गंवानी पड़ी है। सबसे ज्यादा 11 लोगों की मौत सहारनपुर में हुई है। बारिश से संबंधित घटनाओं में 42 लोग घायल हुये हैं जिनमें आगरा, मेरठ और सहारनपुर में पांच-पांच लोग घायल हुए हैं। मौसम विभाग के अलर्ट के अनुसार अभी अगले चार दिन तक भारी बारिश हो सकती है। मौसम विभाग ने प्रदेश…

All schools remained shut in Dehradun as the district administration had declared a holiday on Saturday.According to the state disaster management authority, the Rishikesh-Gangotri national highway (NH-108) had remained blocked since morning due to debris falling in Maneri and Naytala.
