(BS) Dharmendra Pradhan said that Tripura is country’s number one gas producing point and every poor household in the state will have LPG connection in 2019. He said that ONGC Tripura has recorded its highest ever production at 4.96 MMSCMD (Million Metric Standard Cubic Meter Per Day) . “Not only 5 MMSCMD but we can produce 10 MMCMD from here for the upcoming 15-20 years,” said Dharmendra Pradhan. “We will try that in 2019 itself none of the poor households in Tripura is without an LPG connection,” said Pradhan. “The ONCG will fulfil all the energy requirement of the state with regard to power plants, domestic industries, transportation and domestic fuel,” said Pradhan.

(ET) Come April 1, electric vehicles will get cheaper by Rs 20,000 to Rs 2.5 lakh, following the government’s goahead to Niti Aayog’s proposal to give purchase rebate as incentive to buyers. The move will help reduce India’s dependence on imported fuel and bring down pollution levels in the country. The Union cabinet had approved incentive of Rs 10,000 per KWH for purchase of e-vehicles directly linked to battery size under the FAME II (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicle) scheme. J Ramaswamy, who was the designated CFO of the company so far, superannuated on 28 February 2019. (NDTV) LPG prices were increased, marking the first upwards revision after three straight monthly cuts. In Delhi, while the subsidised LPG will cost Rs. 2.08 per cylinder more in March, non-subsidised LPG rate prices have been increased by Rs. 42.50 per cylinder, according to Indian Oil Corporation. Subsidised and non-subsidised LPG rates in the national capital stand revised to Rs. 495.61 per cylinder and Rs. 701.50 per cylinder respectively, according to Indian Oil, the country’s largest fuel retailer which supplies LPG under brand Indane. Before the latest hike, the subsidised LPG prices had been lowered by a total Rs.13.89 per cylinder in Delhi since November, data from Indian Oil showed. The…
