(ET) India, the largest exporter of carbon credits, proposes to have its own uniform carbon market in one year as a large finance avenue for energy transition projects and emission reduction. State-oil companies spent a combined ₹1,04,600 crore, meeting their capex target for the year. They plan to spend ₹1,11,000 crore in the current fiscal year. In this regard, the Ministry of Coal has clarified that CMPDIL is a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL) that provides exploration and consultancy services primarily to the coal sector. (PTI) State-owned BHEL on Monday said it has received an order from NTPC for six electric locomotives to be used for the first time in the country for industrial application. The locomotives will be manufactured at the company’s facility in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.
