Yogi Adityanath has completed first 60 days as the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister. In these two months, his popularity as a no-nonsense, people-friendly and development-oriented CM has increased manifold in the state as well as elsewhere in the country. Yogi’s declared mission is to make UP a crime-free and developed state of the country under his watch and he has announced a number of measures in this regard in the last two months. But then, Uttar Pradesh is too large a state, and 60 days is too less a time to change the face of the state, which has been a victim of the apathy of the ruling class for decades.
