Keeping in view the strong buyer interest, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is likely to develop a new residential sector near the upcoming Jewar airport, people privy to the development said. For this, the YEIDA has prepared a proposal to acquire 1,100 hectares of land and will soon send it to the district administration, they said.
The sources said the upcoming residential sector is likely to be named Sector 5 and will be close to the upcoming Noida International Airport. The land department of the authority has been instructed to make necessary preparations. “The land acquisition process for 1,100 hectares will begin soon and it is likely to be completed by December 2023 or January 2024.
