Tom Holland has seemingly confirmed long-standing speculation that he and Zendaya are married. In a recent cover story interview with Esquire, the actor made a brief but telling remark that has reignited conversations about the couple’s relationship.
Rumors surrounding a secret wedding first gained momentum earlier this year when Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, stated on the Golden Globes red carpet that reports of the pair’s marriage were “very true.” The comment sparked widespread speculation online, leading to viral AI-generated images falsely depicting Zendaya in a wedding dress and scenes from an alleged ceremony.
Neither Holland nor Zendaya publicly addressed the rumors in detail at the time. During the promotional tour for her film The Drama, Zendaya dismissed the AI-generated wedding photos, revealing that even some people in her personal life had been fooled by the images.
However, Holland’s latest interview appears to offer the strongest indication yet that the couple has indeed tied the knot. When asked whether he had to reassure family members that the viral wedding images were fake, Holland jokingly replied, “No, because they were all there.”
When the interviewer followed up by noting they had not realized the wedding had already taken place, Holland declined to elaborate, saying, “That’s all you’ll get on that.”
Although he remained private about the details, Holland spoke warmly about his relationship with Zendaya. He described her as his best friend and credited their shared experiences in the entertainment industry for helping them support one another through the pressures of fame. The couple have starred together in multiple Spider-Man films and will reunite in upcoming projects, including Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.
Elsewhere in the interview, Holland also expressed his desire to remain involved with the Spider-Man franchise long enough to mentor a future successor, naming young actor Owen Cooper as a promising candidate.
