    Sensex jumps over 200 points to close at 65,000, Nifty closes at 19,375

    In today’s rally of the stock market, the Sensex has opened above 65000 and the Nifty has opened close to 19375. Railway stocks are seeing a boom today. There is continuous action in power and power utilities. FMCG stocks are seeing a movement today and consumer-oriented stocks continue to have good action.

    The opening of the domestic stock market has seen a good rise today. The BSE Sensex opened at 65,201 with a rise of 204.75 points, or 0.32 per cent. Apart from this, NSE’s Nifty opened at a level of 19,374 with an increase of 68.80 points or 0.36 percent.

    Sensex stocks are in the green mark today. Out of its 30 stocks, 20 stocks are trading with an increase and 10 stocks are seeing a decline. Apart from this, 37 out of 50 Nifty stocks are trading on the rise and 13 stocks are declining.

    On the other hand, Tech Mahindra, PowerGrid, NTPC, Wipro, UltraTech Cement, HCL Tech, Tata Motors, Bajaj Finserv, Tata Steel, Asian Paints and JSW Steel, HDFC Bank were among the top gainers.

    Top losers of Sensex

    If you look at the top losers of the Sensex, the shares of Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, HUL, Nestle, M&M are seeing a decline.

    What is the sector-wise picture looking like?

    The FMCG sector, consumer durables and PSU bank sector are trading with a decline, apart from this, all the sectoral indices of Nifty are trading at the green mark, the realty sector is trading the most up by 0.82 per cent and media stocks are trading with a gain of 0.68 per cent.
