Thousands of devotees are arriving daily to see Baba Barwani located in Jammu and Kashmir. So far, more than 3 lakh people have visited Amarnath. These figures are only for 21 days as the Amarnath Yatra has started from July 1. On July 21, 13,797 pilgrims had visited the cave shrine. Due to the improvement in infrastructure and services by the government, a record-breaking number of devotees are coming to see Baba Barwani. These figures in 21 days are much higher than last year.

    Development underway for Amarnath Yatra

The interest of tourists towards Amarnath shows that the government has developed road transport, helipad service and drinking water related services, electricity, water, health, roads, sanitation and infrastructure here. In order to give a home-like experience to the passengers, 30 government departments have been included to ensure facilities. In view of the Amarnath Yatra, services like food, accommodation, health care were encouraged by the administration and the government here. As a result, the number of amarnath yatra pilgrims has increased and people have got encouragement for Amarnath Yatra.

    Record-breaking number of devotees arrive

This year, the government has prepared two routes between the Amarnath cave and the camps. Pahalgam and Baltal through which the yatra can be continued even in the evening. In order to ensure that the pilgrims do not face any difficulty in the yatra or to keep a close watch on the nuances of the conduct of the yatra, the government has set up an integrated command and control centre integrated with RFID. As a result of the facilities provided by the government and the administration, the number of passengers crossed 3 lakh in a very short time .
