    Rahul Gandhi gets back his official bungalow, will stay at 12 Tughlaq Road

    Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has got his old government bungalow back after his reinstatement as MP. Now Rahul will again stay at 12 Tughlaq Road. Rahul Gandhi’s first statement on getting back home has also come out. Rahul Gandhi has said that my house is the whole of India. Let us know that the Housing Committee of Parliament has returned Rahul’s old house.

    What is the whole case

    New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been reinstated as the Wayanad MP by the Lok Sabha Secretariat after the Supreme Court granted him relief in the defamation case filed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On August 4, the apex court had stayed Rahul Gandhi’s conviction in the defamation case, paving the way for his reinstatement as a Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad in Kerala. Rahul Gandhi also went to Parliament as soon as he got the membership of Parliament.

    When was Rahul disqualified??

    Rahul Gandhi was disqualified as a Lok Sabha MP on March 24. He was sentenced to two years in jail by a metropolitan court in Surat, Gujarat. On July 7, the Gujarat High Court dismissed his plea to stay the sentence, after which he approached the Supreme Court on July 15. On August 4, the Supreme Court had stayed Rahul’s sentence.
