    Pm Modi and Xi Jinping hold talks at the 15th BRICS Summit in Johannesburg

    Pm Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping had a brief conversation at the 15th BRICS Summit in Johannesburg. It is being told that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a brief conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping after the joint press conference of the leaders on Thursday.

    There was speculation whether Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi would hold talks at the BRICS summit or not. Even on the first day of the BRICS Summit, Xi Jinping appeared in a ‘frame’ on the same platform with the BRICS heads of state, but he did not address. The Minister of Representatives took part on their behalf. However, in the meantime, the news of a brief conversation between PM Modi and Xi Jinping has come from the BRICS Summit.

    Jinping is also expected to attend the G20.

    Modi and Xi are in Johannesburg to attend the15th BRICS Summit. It is not yet clear what transpired between PM Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping. However, there was already a lot of speculation about this conversation and meeting. Jinping is also expected to attend the G20 summit in New Delhi in early September.

    PM Modi congratulates Chandrayaan-3 mission on success

    Earlier, during his address at the BRICS Summit, PM Narendra Modi addressed the BRICS summit and described the success of Chandrayaan 3 as the success of the world. He said that no one had done the target that India had set. India has succeeded in that endeavour. This is a great success for our scientists. On behalf of myself, my countrymen and my scientists, I publicly express my gratitude to the congratulatory messages I have received for the scientists of India and India on this success.
