    PFC Contributes Rs. 51.13 Crore To Swachh Bharat Kosh

    Shri Rajeev Sharma, CMD, PFC presented a token of remittance for Rs 51.13 crore towards “Swachh Bharat Kosh” to Shri Hasmukh Adhia IAS, Secretary (Finance) GoI wherein, Shri Parameswaran Iyer IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation (GoI) was also present. The amount of Rs 51.13 crore also includes contributions by PFC Subsidiaries i.e. PFC Consulting Ltd., (Rs. 1.19 Cr.) PFC Green Energy Ltd (Rs. 0.66 Cr.) and PFC Capital Advisory Services Ltd. (Rs. 0.03 Cr.) Directors and senior officers of PFC were present on this occasion.

    PFC is committed to supporting the Government of India’s mission for Swachh Bharat. As a responsible Corporate Entity, the cause of Nation building has always been high on PFC’s priorities. The SBK was set up to attract CSR funds from corporate sector and contribution from individual philanthropists to achieve the objective of Clean India (Swachh Bharat) through “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” by the year 2019, the 150th year of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The SBK is to be used to achieve the objective of improving cleanliness levels in rural and urban areas, including in schools. The allocation from the Swachh Bharat Kosh (SBK) is being used to supplement departmental resources for such activities.
