BJP Mahila Morcha national president Vijaya Rahatkar said today that by failing to extend support to the Muslim Triple Talaq bill in the Rajya Sabha the opposition parties displayed their insensitivity to the problems affecting women.“The Bill came for the welfare of women but the opposition did not allow it to be passed in the Rajya Sabha. It shows they are not with the suffering women who were being issued talaq through telephone and other social media platforms,” said Vijaya while addressing a press conference today.She also termed the Bill that was brought by the BJP before the Parliament as an achievement and it also displayed her party’s commitment to women and their issues.
