Inflation is continuously increasing in the country. People are struggling with inflation at every level. The prices of most food items are skyrocketing. Be it lentils or vegetables. Oil to cook and now spices… They are becoming out of reach of common people. Domestic women say that the budget of the kitchen of the house has deteriorated. The impact of inflation has disturbed me. The earnings are the same as before.

People say that inflation has spoiled the budget of their entire kitchen. About 2 months ago, the budget of their kitchen used to be 10 thousand, which has increased to 14 thousand today. The situation is that sometimes tomatoes have to be cut, sometimes onions, sometimes pulses and now spices like cumin and turmeric, which give flavor to pulses, have also been cut. Have to do it.

    ‘Can’t apply cumin seeds now’

Women say that they had to think before applying tomato juice in lentils and now they have to think before applying cumin seeds. Every year there is as much inflation. The income is not increasing that much.

    ‘Limited production of black pepper’

When we reached Khari Baoli, Asia’s largest grocery market, to find out the reason for the sudden doubling of pepper and turmeric, jitendra told us the reason behind the price hike. Due to which the production of black pepper in India is very limited. This is the reason why its prices are increasing.

‘Turmeric prices rise due to crop failure’

He also said that the reason behind the increase in turmeric prices is the failure of the crop, due to which the price of turmeric has increased from Rs 65-70 to Rs 175 in the last two months. At the same time, grocery trader and expert Nand Lal Bansal says that (NCDEx) i.e. National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Limited is responsible for this.
