    (CXO Today)

In a significant move aimed at fostering greater collaboration between India and Japan, NSDC International, a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), and Kyoshin, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today. The objective of this partnership is to create awareness in the Japanese market regarding the hiring of skilled professionals from different sectors in India. This initiative addresses the growing demand for diverse talent in Japan and seeks to facilitate a seamless recruitment process. This landmark agreement was officially inked between Mr. Ajay Kumar Raina, Director & Chief Operating Officer of NSDC International, and Representative Director and President Mr. Yasuyuki Tachiki.

Speaking on this initiative, Mr. Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC & MD NSDC International, said, “This partnership with Kyoshin is a landmark moment in our mission to bridge global skill gaps and create valuable opportunities for Indian talent. By leveraging our robust training frameworks and Kyoshin’s expertise in the Japanese market, we are setting the stage for a transformative journey that not only meets the talent needs of Japan but also elevates the global employability of our skilled professionals. This collaboration underscores our commitment to fostering international partnerships that drive economic growth and mutual prosperity.” Speaking on this initiative, President and Representative Director Mr. Yasuyuki Tachiki, said, “The Kyoshin Group provides various solutions based on ‘education’ to solve social problems.

The decline in the working-age population in Japan is a major challenge, and the resulting labour shortage is an urgent issue. Leveraging our experience in operating Japanese language schools and career support, we conduct programs such as the Foreign Nurse Development Program and the Specified Skilled Worker Program to support the employment, career change, and retention of foreign talent in Japan. Our shared vision with NSDC International to expand opportunities for Indian personnel in Japan led to the signing of a memorandum of understanding to establish a cooperative framework. To realize the Kyoshin Group’s vision of “Creating a future with talented adults,” we will support young people from India to be active in Japan for the long term, while collaborating in various fields in both Japan and India.” NSDC International and Kyoshin forces to support the hiring of Indian skilled candidates, aligning with the specific demands of Japanese companies.

This joint effort is envisioned to bridge the talent gap and enhance workforce mobility. Further, NSDC International and Kyoshin will organize joint seminars and workshops in both India and Japan. These events will focus on skill development, workforce mobility, and other relevant areas, fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration.
