    M Venkaiah Naidu Review The Projects Implemented By ONGC, GAIL & HPCL

    Honorable Vice President of India Sri M Venkaiah Naidu took a review of the projects being implemented by ONGC, GAIL & HPCL in a meeting organized at VUDA Children’s Theatre, Visakhapatnam on 13.04.2018. Honourable Minister of Mines & Geology Shri R V Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao, Visakhapatnam MP Shri Haribabu, Joint Secretary MOP&NG Smt Sushma Rath, Secretary of Industries of Andhra Pradesh Shri Salomon Arokyaraj, GVMC Commissioner Shri Harinarayanan, District Collector (FAC) of Vishakapatnam Smt G Srijana and Secretary to Honourable Vice President of India Dr. Yuvaraj were present in the meeting along with senior officials of Oil PSUs ONGC, GAIL & HPCL.

    Chairman and Managing Director of HPCL Shri M K Surana welcomed Honourable Vice President and other dignitaries. C&MD ONGC Shri Shashi Shanker, C&MD GAIL Shri B C Tripathi and C&MD HPCL Shri M K Surana made presentations covering the details of their company operations & projects in the nation.  They also highlighted the projects implemented in the past and the proposed investments in the coming years in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

    Honorable Vice President emphasized the importance of energy sector and specially the Petroleum & Gas sector in the accelerated economic growth of the country. He expressed his happiness on the quantum of capital outlay planned by the Oil & Gas companies and stressed the need for fast-track completion of the projects. This will also help in the development of the respective regions. Executive Director HPCL Visakh Refinery Shri Prasad Sarma proposed a vote of thanks.
