    HPCL Bags FIPI Awards

    HPCL has been conferred with two coveted award under the category of “Oil and Gas Marketing Company of the Year” and “Responsibly Growing Corporate of the Year” by FIPI (Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry), previously known as Petrofed, in a scintillating function held on 8th August 2017 at New Delhi.

    FIPI is an apex Society of entities in the hydrocarbon sector and acts as an industry interface with Government and regulatory authorities. It represents the industry on Government bodies, committees and task forces and has been submitting recommendations to the Government on behalf of the industry on various issues.

    This is the second time in a row when HPCL have been conferred with Oil & Gas-Marketing Company of the Year award which symbolizes Excellence in Performance amongst the Oil Marketing companies (OMCs).

    Responsibly Growing Corporate of the Year award recognizes the fastest growing and responsible company operating in any segment of Oil & Gas value chain in India. In selecting this award, the Company’s growth, financial performance, technological innovation and environmental concerns were pivotal factors, along with traditional values of corporate social responsibility, health, safety and efficiency.

    The award was given by Shri Kapil Dev Tripathi, secretary MoPNG during the magnificent award ceremony. On behalf of HPCL, the award ceremony was attended by our C&MD, Shri M.K. Surana along with Director – Finance, Shri J. Ramaswamy, Director – Marketing, Shri S. Jeyakrishnan, Director – Refineries, Shri Vinod S Shenoy and other senior officials from HPCL

    The nominations went through the multi-stage and rigorous evaluation process by the eminent awards’ committee and then it was decided by the jury.  The awards’ committee was led by Chairman Shri G. C. Chaturvedi, former Secretary GoI and selection by an eminent Jury panel compromising of Dr. Anil Kakodkar, Dr. R. A. Mashelkar, and others GoI officials.
