    HPCL Awarded Rajbhasha Kirti First Prize For The Third Consecutive Time

    Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited has set a record by winning “Rajbhasha Kirti First Prize” for the third consecutive year for implementation of Rajbhasha in the year 2018-19. On September 14, 2019, on the occasion of Hindi Diwas, Shri Amit Shah, Hon’ble Home Minister of India, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, awarded HPCL’s C&MD Shri. Mukesh Kumar Surana, with ‘Rajbhasha Kirti First Prize’ for the best official language implementation in all public sector of region ‘B’.

    The award was presented in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Nityananda Rai and Secretary Rajbhasha, Ms. Anuradha Mitra. It is noteworthy that HPCL has received Rajbhasha Kirti First Prize for the third consecutive year, which is a unique achievement in the entire oil industry and Public Sector Undertakings. Chief General Manager – Coordination, Sh. Alok Kumar Gupta, Chief General Manager – North Zone, Retail Sh. MS Yadav, Head – Official Language, Sh. Ram Vichar Yadav, and other senior officials were present during the ceremony. On this occasion, the e-saral Hindi vakya kosh and the e-Mahashabd kosh mobile app were launched with by Sh. Amit Shah. Hon’ble Home Minister in his address appealed people to connect with Hindi and use more and more Hindi e-tools.
