Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Friday said the government would speed up the work on setting up the campus of Central University at Dharamsala and Dehra for which forest clearance would be obtained soon. The additional 112 bighas for AIIMS, at Kothipura in Bilaspur, another Central project, would be provided soon to hasten the project, he added. Presiding over a review meeting of the Central projects being executed in the state here on Friday, the Chief Minister said land measuring 303 hectares had been identified for Central University, of which nearly 278 hectares was forest land and around 24 hectares was government land.
