Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has directed expert teams from Indian Institute of Technology Madras and Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur to assist the Central Board of Secondary Education in resolving technical issues related to the CBSE post-result services portal.

The move comes after students and parents raised concerns over glitches faced during the post-examination re-evaluation process. Reports of technical problems on the CBSE portal prompted the Ministry of Education to intervene and ensure a smoother and more reliable system for students.

According to the Ministry, the IIT expert teams will review all technical glitches reported since the launch of this year’s re-evaluation services. The teams will focus on improving the portal’s technological systems, server performance, and workflow management to prevent disruptions during the application process.

The experts will also assess the overall IT infrastructure of the CBSE portal and recommend corrective measures to strengthen its stability and efficiency. Special attention will be given to login authentication systems, user access management, payment gateways, and overall platform reliability.

The Education Minister stressed that the interests of students remain the government’s top priority and directed CBSE to take all necessary corrective measures at the earliest. He emphasised the need for a transparent, efficient, and student-friendly re-evaluation process without technical interruptions.

The intervention aims to restore confidence among students and parents who faced difficulties while accessing post-result services after the CBSE board examination results were announced.

The Ministry’s decision to involve IIT experts highlights the importance of ensuring seamless digital infrastructure for large-scale education services and reflects the government’s focus on improving the student experience through technology-driven solutions.
