Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan chaired the Coordination Forum Meeting of Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. The meeting was organised by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, along with IIM Ahmedabad.
Chairpersons, Directors of IIMs, and senior officials discussed ways to strengthen coordination among IIMs and enhance their role in achieving the goals of Viksit Bharat 2047. Key discussions focused on student welfare, academic excellence, innovation, global competitiveness, UG entrance reforms, MBA admission policies, faculty exchange programmes, and reservation roster implementation.
Shri Pradhan said IIMs have become major contributors to nation-building and economic growth, and can further strengthen India’s global leadership in management education through innovation and values-driven learning.
