Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has announced 8 per cent interim relief for the employees and pensioners from January 1, 2016, which will cost the state exchequer Rs 700 crore.He made this announcement while presiding over a function of Himachal Pradesh’s 48th Statehood Day at Anni in Kullu today,The CM also announced the upgrade of 50-bed Civil Hospital at Anni to 100 beds.
A tunnel would be constructed under the Jalori Pass at a cost of Rs 1,410 crore. He also announced to provide a budget for various development schemes and works at Anni. He said the government had decided to implement the “Swarnim Himachal Drishti Patra-2017” of the BJP as the policy document of the state government.
