“Only We Can Build Ram Temple In Ayodhya,” Says Yogi Adityanath

    (NDTV)

Whenever Ram temple is constructed in Ayodhya, it would be done by “us” and no one else, declared Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. “Some people were speaking about Ram Janmabhoomi… they were saying that they will only vote for the party that will build Ram temple. I want to assure you that whenever that happens and we’ll be the ones to do it, nobody else can do it,” Yogi Adityanath said at the Yuva Kumbh in Lucknow.

He also termed the Hindu culture as India’s only culture and said, “India is a nation, and it has only one culture. The languages, castes, regions, eating habits, dialects may be different… From a political point of view there can be differences in India, but the country has only one culture, the ‘Hindu culture’. And, all of us should feel proud about it.” In an apparent dig at Congress president Rahul Gandhi, the UP chief minister said, “Jo log Ram aur Krishna ko mithak maante rahe hai, unn logo dwaraa janeu dikhaakar aur gotra bataakar bharmaane kaa prayaas kiyaa jaa raha hai (Those who used to consider Ram and Krishna as mythical, are showing off their sacred thread and revealing their gotra now to mislead people.”
