Ahead of the crucial MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) polls on April 23, several BJP leaders from Uttarakhand have been campaigning for the BJP candidates.To shore up support for the BJP candidates, Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj has been extensively campaigning for the BJP candidates. As Satpal Maharaj, who is also a spiritual guru, has a large following, the BJP leadership has brought him to garner support for the BJP.
Along with Maharaj, BJP MLAs Sanjay Gupta, Pushkar Singh Dhami and Yateshwaranand too have been rendering their services in these local polls.“There are a large number of people from our state who are settled in different parts of Delhi and have been supporting the BJP. For these elections too, I am sure they will favour our candidates,” said Pushkar Singh Dhami, BJP MLA from Khatima.
