Pepfuels, a Uttar Pradesh-based start-up currently involved in providing door-step delivery of diesel in the National Capital Region to Business-to-Business (B2B) customers is eyeing cities like Bengaluru and Hyderabad to expand its operations rising on the back of the recent liberalisation of fuel marketing regulations, Founder Tikendra Yadav told.

The 29-year old, who founded the company with two of his partners — 29 year old Sandeep Thakur and 28 year old Pratik Kathil – said the inception of the idea for delivering fuel to customers came to them back in 2016.The company operates around seven diesel Mobile Dispensing Units (MDUs) and is presently selling around 5 lakh litre of diesel every month around NCR. According to Yadav, the company is looking to add 100 MDUs in the next fiscal year if certain policy suggestions are accepted.

“On 10 may 2019 Pepfuels signed a tripartite agreement with Indian Oil, petrol pump dealer Mahaveer brothers, which was the first such agreement signed in the country for door-step delivery of fuel, which officially legalised this business category and our operations,” Yadav said.
