(FE) To further augment the country’s oil and gas production capacity, the second round of the discovered small field (DSF) auction and a policy to incentivise enhanced oil recovery (EOR) will be launched soon, petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Wednesday. The government will also push fledgling fields into production enhancement contracts. Emphasizing that the world is analysing the Indian energy market and 30% of the incremental energy demand is going to come from India, Pradhan said the country is in a position to influence the world energy prices.
