(HPCL) has roped in Engineers India Ltd (EIL), Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) for setting up India’s first second generation (2G) ethanol bio-refinery in Bathinda at a cost of Rs 600 crore.The proposed capacity of the plant will be 100 kilolitres of ethanol per day and may use sugarcane, biomass and other agricultural residues like rice-straw, wheat stubble and maize residue for the production of ethanol. (HB) टेलिकॉम रेग्युलेटरी अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया (TRAI) ने आधार कार्ड के बिना सिम कार्ड, ब्रॉडबैंड और फिक्स लाइन फोन लेने पर रोक लगा दी है। ट्राई की तरफ से जारी की गई निर्देश में बताया कि सिम कार्ड लेने के लिए आधार कार्ड देना अनिवार्य होगा। इससे पहले केंद्र सरकार ने फरवरी माह में सुप्रीम कोर्ट को बताया था कि एक साल के अंदर सभी सिम कार्डों को आधार कार्ड से जोड़ दिया जाएगा। ट्राई के नए नियम के मुताबिक अब हर सिमकार्ड के लिए ई-केवाईसी जरूरी होगा। नियमों के मुताबिक सिर्फ नई मोबाइल सिम बल्कि मौजूदा मोबाइल सब्सक्राइबर्स का ई-ईकेवाईसी…
In a significant decision to fast-track India’s domestic nuclear power programme, and give a push to country’s nuclear industry, the Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given its approval for construction of 10 units of India’s indigenous Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors (PHWR). The total installed capacity of the Plants will be 7000 MW. The 10 PHWR project will result in a significant augmentation of nuclear power generation capacity.
