(PTI) Recycling player Lohum on Monday announced the launch of a rare earth element magnet production facility set up at an investment of Rs 500 crore in Uttar Pradesh. The plant will have a production capacity of 2,000 metric tonnes. “The facility, which has been established with an investment of Rs 500 crore, marks a transformational step toward building India’s self-reliance in rare earth magnets and critical minerals. The facility will refine and produce both light and heavy rare earth elements, key for advanced technology, electric mobility, renewable energy, aerospace, defense, electronics; and more,” a company statement said.

In order to enhance convenience and improve the overall customer experience, NHAI has simplified the Know Your Vehicle (KYV) process for FASTag users. Under the revised guidelines issued by Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL), FASTag services will not be discontinued for non-compliant vehicles and users will be provided sufficient opportunity to complete the KYV process. Shares of Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) on Wednesday surged by nearly 11 per cent after the company posted a 28 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit in the September quarter. The stock jumped 10.80 per cent to Rs 1,113.05 apiece on the BSE. During the day, it zoomed 13.98 per cent to Rs 1,145. On the NSE, the stock rose sharply by 10.79 per cent to Rs 1,112.60 each.
NMDC Steel reported narrowing of net loss to Rs 114.78 crore for September quarter FY26, driven by increase in revenues. The company had incurred a net loss of Rs 595.37 crore in July-September FY25, an exchange filing said. Total income rose to Rs 3,411.03 crore from Rs 1,535.46 crore in the second quarter a year ago.
