Moreover, existing bank account holders have been asked to submit their Aadhaar cards issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to banks by December 31 this year, failing which banks will invalidate their accounts. The water storage available in 91 major reservoirs of the country for the week ending on June 15, 2017 was 30.903 BCM, which is 20% of total storage capacity of these reservoirs. This percentage was at 20 for the week ending on June 08, 2017. Starting today, the move by state-owned oil companies will mark a departure from the earlier practice of fortnightly revisions of rates, according to reports.
