(PTI) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday heard the grievances of nearly 200 people and ordered officials to take strict legal action against land grabbers. While addressing ‘Janata Darshan’ in front of the Mahant Digvijay Nath Smriti Auditorium at the Gorakhnath temple, Adityanath also instructed the officials to get houses built for the poor and needy. On the complaints of land grabbing, the chief minister said that strict legal action would be ensured in such cases and those involved in such acts should be given appropriate lessons.

Murmu addressed a gathering after being welcomed at a civic reception hosted here on her first visit to the state upon becoming President. “In line with the National Education Policy-2020, our students should earn an eminent place in the modern world while continuing our traditions. (ET) The oil ministry will seek compensation from the finance ministry for the losses state-owned fuel retailers incurred on holding petrol and diesel prices in the last eight months despite a spike in cost of raw material, a top official said on Friday. Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) posted a combined net loss of Rs 21,201.18 crore in April-September. (PTI) Union minister Nitin Gadkari said all vehicles belonging to the Indian government that have completed 15 years will be scrapped, and a policy to that effect has been sent to states. He was speaking at the inauguration of the annual ‘Agro-Vision’ agriculture exhibition here. “Yesterday, I signed a file under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that all the vehicles of the Indian government which have completed 15 years will be scrapped. I have sent this policy of the Indian government to all the states. They should adopt this policy at the state level,” he said.
