(PTI) Kerala reported 265 fresh COVID-19 infections and one death due to the disease in the last 24 hours, according to data on the Union Health Ministry website on Friday. Of the 328 coronavirus infections reported nationwide till 8 am today, 265 were from Kerala, taking the active cases in the state to 2,606, as per the website. With one death reported in the state, the total number of people who have died due to coronavirus in Kerala since its outbreak three years ago reached 72,060.

A person or entity identified as an accredited investor based on net worth or income. Such investors can invest in securities that may not be available to retail investors. Under the framework, accreditation agencies, which are also KYC Registration Agencies (KRAs), can access Know Your Customer (KYC) documents of applicants available with them in the capacity of KRA and can also access the same from the database of other KRAs for accreditation, Sebi said in a circular. (MC) BPCL said its board approved the proposal for setting up a polypropylene (PP) unit for the production of polypropylene at the Kochi refinery. The gross cost of the project is pegged at Rs 5,044 crore, the state-owned oil marketing company said in an exchange filing on December 19. Polypropylene is used in downstream industries such as packaging films, sheets, boxes, containers, bags, homeware, home care, personal care and articles of day-to-day usage.
