As part of the National Green Hydrogen Mission, the Government has initiated five pilot projects for using Hydrogen in buses and trucks. Earlier the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy had issued guidelines for implementing Pilot projects in the Transport Sector under this Mission. Accordingly, the proposals were invited for different types of hydrogen-based vehicles, routes, and hydrogen refueling stations. (FE) India’s annual capacity addition of wind power is expected to more than double to 7.1 gigawatt (GW) on average in the next two financial years, compared with 3.4 GW during the 2023-2025 period, driven by government measures to ramp up the pace, according to Crisil Ratings. (PTI) Adani Green Energy  said its arm Adani Saur Urja has bagged an order from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation (UPPCL) for procurement of 1,250 MW energy storage capacity from pumped hydro storage (PSP) projects. Adani Saur Urja, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from UPPCL in this regard. The capacity is secured through the e-Reverse Auction conducted by UPPCL, a regulatory filing said.
