ET India’s crude oil production in September 2023 recorded a steady growth, with a total output of 2.4 million metric tonnes (MMT), according to data released by the Petroleum Planning & Analysis Cell (PPAC). The Oil ministry detailed that the lion’s share of the production came from the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), which produced 1.5 MMT. It had clocked a PAT of Rs 20.36 crore during the July-September period of the preceding 2022-23 fiscal, the company said in a statement on Monday. PTI In a major victory for Tatas, an arbitral tribunal has awarded Tata Motors a compensation of over Rs 766 crore for the losses incurred because of protests by Trinamool Congress that stalled its small car project at Singur in West Bengal. During second and third week of Implementation Phase of Special Campaign 3.0, the Ministry of Coal along with its PSUs have carried out various activities, identified during the preparatory phase of the Campaign. The Ministry has freed approx.50,59,012 Sq. Ft. of area by disposing of scrap, and generated revenue of Rs.28.79 crore. So far a total 1,08,469 physical files were reviewed, and 8,088 old files were weeded out. Besides, 29,993 E- Files have been closed online, after review of 80,305 E-files. This Special Campaign promotes best practices and sets an example of waste management that inspires others to follow.
