MC Inflationary risks continue to persist keeping the Centre and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on high alert, the finance ministry’s monthly economic report for October released on November 21 has said. PTI Tata Technologies, which provides engineering and product development digital services, on Tuesday said it has collected Rs 791 crore from anchor investors ahead of its initial share-sale opening on the following day. This will be the first company from the Tata Group to float an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in nearly two decades. Tata Consultancy Services was the last IPO from the group in 2004. The company has allotted 1.58 crore equity shares to 67 funds at Rs 500 apiece, which is also the upper end of the price band, according to a circular uploaded on the BSE website.
TH The Indian economy is expected to grow by 7% in the second quarter, surpassing the central bank’s estimate of a 6.5% uptick, rating agency ICRA said on Tuesday, citing improved industrial performance despite a weak monsoon hitting the farm sector. India’s real GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and Gross Value Added (GVA) had grown 7.8% in the April to June 2023 quarter.
