Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is set to marry his partner Gauri Spratt on July 5 in an intimate ceremony attended by close family members and friends. According to reports, the wedding will take place at Aamir’s residence, with no large-scale public celebrations planned.
The couple has reportedly been in a relationship for over two years and has been living together for more than a year. Aamir first introduced Gauri publicly as his partner around his 60th birthday, bringing their relationship into the spotlight. Their connection, however, dates back much further, with the two reportedly knowing each other for nearly 25 years before their friendship evolved into a romantic relationship.
Gauri, who previously worked with a salon chain in Bengaluru, is now associated with Aamir Khan Productions. She is also the mother of a son from her previous marriage. Since making their relationship public, she has accompanied Aamir at several industry events and public appearances.
Speaking about their relationship earlier, Aamir described his bond with Gauri as stable and deeply committed. He shared that he already feels married to her in his heart, while leaving the possibility of formalizing the relationship open for the future.
This will be Aamir’s third marriage. He was first married to Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002, and the couple have two children, Ira Khan and Junaid Khan. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and they share a son, Azad. Despite their separations, Aamir has maintained cordial relationships with both former spouses and continues to co-parent his children.
Reports suggest that close friends from the film industry, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, may attend the ceremony if schedules permit.
