The next meeting of the India Alliance is scheduled to be held in Mumbai. All kinds of claims are coming out about this. Meanwhile, Congress spokesperson Alok Sharma has made a shocking claim. According to this claim, some of the 38 parties attending the BJP-led NDA meeting are in touch with the India Alliance. At the same time, Alok Sharma also said that these parties can become part of the opposition alliance in the coming time. The Congress spokesperson said that some very important decisions can be taken in the meeting of the India Alliance to be held in Mumbai on September 1. Significantly, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has made a similar claim on Sunday. He said some more political parties are likely to attend the upcoming meeting of the Opposition Alliance India in Mumbai.

This claim on 4-5 parties

Alok Sharma said this while addressing a press conference. He said that out of the 38 parties that attended the NDA meeting last time, 4-5 parties are in touch with the India alliance. Alok Sharma also said that some of them are preparing to become part of the opposition alliance very soon. At the same time, some others will join us before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Significantly, the last meeting of the NDA alliance was held in Delhi last month. The meeting was attended by 38 parties. During this, Alok Sharma was asked whether the Congress will lead the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance in Maharashtra? In response to this question, Sharma was seen avoiding giving any clear answer.

Questions from PM Modi

The Congress national spokesperson said given the current situation in the country, it was not important who was leading. What is important is how we all together remove this arrogant government. Sharma said anyone can lead in different states and regions, but the Congress will be engaged in uniting the opposition in all states. He said that the year 2024 is the year of India alliance. “I want to ask PM Modi whether he will get CBI and ED to take action after the recent CAG report? The CAG has submitted a report on the irregularities in the NNAI and the health insurance sector.

He said this on Rahul’s question.

Alok Sharma was also asked whether Rahul Gandhi will contest from Amethi again in the 2024 elections? He said that this Lok Sabha seat is traditionally associated with the Gandhi family. The locals have a family-like relationship with them. The people of Amethi want someone from the Gandhi family to contest elections from here. Sharma, however, said the decision will be taken by Rahul Gandhi and his family. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bjp’s Smriti Irani defeated Congress’ Rahul Gandhi from Amethi. Alok Sharma said that one thing is certain that if the Block President of Congress also stands against Smriti Irani in this election, then he is sure to lose.
