Ahead of the 2024 elections, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has formed a new CWC team. In this new team, Shashi Tharoor and Sachin Pilot have also been given a place in the Congress Working Committee. Congress has shared this list on its Twitter handle.
There are a total of 39 members in this list . The other members of the team are Sonia Gandhi, Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh , , Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, AK Antony, Ambika Soni, meira Kumar and , Digvijaya Singh.
New women will be seen in the new team
Mallikarjun Kharge has included many new women in the new team as special invitees. Supriya Shrine, Preneet Shinde, Phulodevi Netam, Alka Lamba,Meenakshi Natarajan have been included in the team as special invitees.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge was earlier working with the committee, which was formed by Sonia Gandhi. The new Congress Working Committee announced by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, has not made many changes compared to the previous committee. The new list includes 39 members, 32 permanent invitees and nine special invitees .
