(IANS) An MoU was signed on Tuesday between the Hindustan Petroelum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) and the Rajasthan government to establish a refinery-cum-petrochemical complex in Barmer. This revised MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Union Petroleum Minister Dharamendra Pradhan. Earlier, a MoU was signed with HPCL to establish a refinery-cum-petrochemical complex in Barmer in 2013 by the then Ashok Gehlot government.
