(AU) गुजरात के वडोदरा शहर के केमिकल प्लांट में भयंकर आग लगने की खबर सामने आई है। न्यूज एजेंसी एएनआई से मिली प्राथमिक जानकारी के मुताबिक आग वडोदरा के केमिकल प्लांट में लगी है। घटनास्थल पर आग पर काबू पाने के लिए कई दमकल की गाड़ियां मौके पर पहुंची हैं। अभी तक हादसे से कोई जानमाल की हानि होने की खबर नहीं है। आग लगने की वजह अभी तक साफ नहीं हो पाई है। लेकिन पुलिस मामले की पड़ताल में जुटी हुई है।

(Tribune) Uttarakhand Department of Tourism will organise International Yoga Festival in March in Rishikesh, Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said on Monday.While addressing a press conference today, Maharaj said that the festival will bring together practitioners of yoga from all across the world. “The annual yoga festival will be held from March 1 to March 7 that will attract national and international tourists. We will also commemorate the 50 the anniversary of Beatles arrival in Rishikesh during this period,” he said. (LiveMint) Government think tank NITI Aayog is working to revamp the existing system of identifying medicines for price control, two persons aware of the matter said. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) asked NITI Aayog to intervene after pharma lobby groups expressed their dissatisfaction over the proposed pharmaceuticals policy, the people cited above said on condition of anonymity. (LiveMint) The government will tomorrow begin sale of 1.5% stake in NMDC at a floor price of Rs153.50 apiece, with an option to retain over-subscription of equal quantum. The two-day offer for sale (OFS) will open for institutional investors on Tuesday and for retail investors on Wednesday. Sale of 1.5% would fetch Rs750 crore to the exchequer, a person familiar with the matter said. (PTI) India hit back on Monday at Washington’s latest legal assault on its solar power policies at the World Trade Organization, rejecting a U.S. legal claim and exploring possible new protection of India’s own solar industry. Last month the United States triggered a new round of litigation at the WTO, arguing that India had failed to abide by a ruling that it had illegally discriminated against foreign suppliers of solar cells and modules. (ET) Coal India has raised prices of thermal coal by an average 9%. The decision was taken at a board meeting held on Monday while revised prices would be effective from Tuesday.  It will make power generation costlier by a similar percentage. Cost of cement and fertiliser production is also expected to rise as a result. The revised prices would be applicable to all subsidiaries of Coal India including North Eastern Coal field North Eastern Coalfields. It is estimated to fetch the company an extra revenue of Rs 6,421 crore that would cover additional outgo of about Rs 5,700 crore on…
