(AU) दिल्ली सहित पूरे उत्तर भारत में कड़ाके की सर्दी पड़ रही है। पहाड़ों में कारगिल में पारा -20 डिग्री सेल्सियस तक गिर गया है तो श्रीनगर में भी तापमान शून्य से नीचे दर्ज किया गया। वहीं, शुक्रवार को दिल्ली में न्यूनतम तापमान 6 डिग्री दर्ज किया गया। सुबह 5:30 बजे दृश्यता केवल 50 मीटर थी। कोहरे के कारण ट्रेन और विमान सेवा बुरी तरह प्रभावित रहीं। नोएडा में तो स्कूलों की छुट्टियां 10 तारीख तक बढ़ा दी गई हैं। मौसम विभाग ने बताया कि अगले सप्ताह सर्दी का प्रकोप और बढ़ेगा और न्यूनतम तापमान 3 डिग्री तक लुढ़क सकता है।

(TOI) Under pressure from the government, State Bank of India is understood to be reviewing its minimum balance requirement which is currently Rs 3,000 in urban centers. The bank is also changing the requirement from monthly average balance to quarterly average balance. The move follows reports that the bank made Rs 1,772 crore in fees by imposing penalties for nonmaintenance of minimum balance between April and November 2017. According to sources, the bank is looking at bringing down the minimum balance requirement to around Rs 1,000 but is yet to take a call.
