Oil and Natural GasCorp (ONGC), India’s biggest oil and gas producer, earlier this year completed the acquisition of HPCL for Rs 36,915 crore. The proposed industrial policy aims to promote emerging sectors. It would completely revamp the Industrial Policy of 1991.
