(LiveMint) Kerala is looking to raise a World Bank loan to rebuild public infrastructure that has been ravaged by the worst floods in over a century, chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan said in an interview. (PTI) Public sector Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) on Friday said it has recorded the highest-ever turnover of ₹15,923 crore, a growth of 14%, despite lower profits of ₹2,042 crore during 2017-18. At the 25th Annual General Meeting in Guwahati, chairman D Rajkumar said the company recorded the highest-ever revenue from operations at ₹15,923 crore during 2017-18, registering a growth of 14.17% over the previous year. Rajkumar is also the managing director of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). Ltd (HPCL) and Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) may put a break on MRPL’s fuel retailing expansion plans, leaving its parent Oil and Natural Gas Corp. Ltd (ONGC) to fulfil these ambitions through HPCL, said two officials aware of the development. MRPL is a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGC and operates a 15 million tonnes per annum refinery in Mangalore, Karnataka.
