The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved setting up of 28 Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVs) in the uncovered districts of the country under the Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme (Central Sector Scheme).
