The Petroleum Minister is on an official tour to review the preparations of OPaL Dahej mega petrochemical plant before it is inaugurated by the PM. “Spread over 508 hectares with an investment of over Rs 30,000 crore, OPaL is the single-largest petrochemical complex in India producing 1.9 MMT,” Pradhan said. (HT) The finance ministry is sticking to the July deadline for rolling out the goods and services tax (GST) even though the Centre and states are yet to finalise legislations for ushering in the country’s biggest tax reform. (AU) होली के सीजन में तेल कंपनयों ने एलपीजी सिलेंडर के दाम बढ़ा दिए हैं। 14.2 किग्रा वाले घरेलू सिलेंडर 86.50 रुपये, 19 किग्रा का कॉमर्शियल सिलेंडर 149.50 रुपये जबकि 5 किग्रा का नॉन सब्सिडी सिलेंडर 30.50 रुपये महंगा हो गया है।14 किग्रा वाला सिलेंडर 691 के बजाय 777 रुपये में, 19 किग्रा का सिलेंडर 1330 के बजाय 1479.50 रुपये और 5 किग्रा वाला सिलेंडर 252 के बजाय 282 रुपये में मिलेगा।हालांकि, खाते में आने वाली सब्सिडी की रकम भी 254.20 से बढ़कर 340.57 रुपये हो जाएगी।
