(T.E.T) Oil prices were set for a second straight weekly loss, but found a floor above $100 a barrel on Friday after volatile trading this week with no easy replacement for Russian barrels in sight in a market already marked by tight supply. Brent crude futures fell 27 cents, or 0.3%, to $106.37 a barrel by 1356 GMT, after surging nearly 9% on Thursday in the largest percentage gain since mid-2020. (T.E.T) Indian conglomerate Adani Group is exploring potential partnerships in Saudi Arabia, including the possibility of buying a stake in the world’s largest oil exporter, people with knowledge of the matter said. (PTI) With 2,528 new COVID-19 cases being reported in a day, India’s infection tally now stands at 4,30,04,005, while the count of active cases fell below 30,000 after around 685 days, according to the Union Health Ministry on Friday. The death toll due to the disease has climbed to 5,16,281 with 149 daily fatalities being recorded, data updated by the ministry at 8 am showed. The count of active cases has declined to 29,181 which comprises 0.07 per cent of  the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has further improved to 98.73 per cent, the health ministry said.…

(T.E.T) There are no plans or talks to privatise the Indian Railways, railways minister Ashwini Vaishnaw told the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. “The track, stations, overhead cables, train engines, coaches, signalling system all belong to the railways. There is no talk of privatisation anywhere.
