(ET) A group of farmers petitioned the district administration on Monday seeking state government’s intervention to stop Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) from using drone cameras for conducting land survey for its Irugur-Devangonthi Petroleum and Petroleum Product Pipeline (IDPL) and action against the company. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has successfully commissioned 1×800 MW Wanakbori Unit 8 Expansion Project in Gujarat.Located in Kheda district of Gujarat, the project is owned by Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL), a state-owned power generation company.Notably, this 800 MW set is the highest rating set of GSECL. (ET) India’s energy trade with the US is likely to touch $10 billion in financial year 2019-20, with the country having increased its import of crude oil, LNG and coking coal, said Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday. Last year, the bilateral energy trade valuation stood at $7 billion. “In 2018-19, our energy trade size is $7 billion with the US.
