IREDA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), setting an annual performance target for the year 2021-22, an MNRE statement said. India’s share of global active coronavirus cases now stands at 0.59 per cent (one in 169). The country is twenty-fourth among the most affected countries by active cases. State-owned Coal India on Monday reported a 47.7 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 4,558.39 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 on the back of higher revenue from operations. The PSU’s consolidated net profit was at Rs 3,085.39 crore in the year-ago period.
