Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) reported a 10.5 percent drop at Rs 3,889 crore against Rs 4,340 crore in the previous quarter. A CNBC-TV18 poll had pegged the figure to be Rs 4,560 crore, higher than the reported number.The revenue came in lower by 12.2 percent at Rs 19,073 crore against previous quarter’s Rs 21,714 crore.
On an operating level, the earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) gained 94.2 percent at Rs 8,823 crore against Rs 4,542 crore in the March quarter, while the operating margin came in at 46.3 percent against 20.9 percent in the previous quarter.Further, it said that crude oil price-nominated net realisation came in at USD 51.03/bbl against USD 46.10/bbl year on year. Crude oil price-JV net realisation at USD 45.92/bbl against USD 38.90/bbl year on year. Meanwhile, the gas price at USD 2.148/mmBtu against USD 3.06/mmBtu year on year.
