Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat today admitted that the BJP had an upper hand vis-a-vis the Congress in the Facebook and Twitter battle and called upon Congress workers to become more active in social media. Addressing a dharna organised at Gandhi Park, Dehradun, in support of farmers, former Chief Minister Harish Rawat said it was his personal experience that the BJP was far ahead of the Congress in social media. “When I post something of our achievements in social media, there are hundreds of BJP men trying to belittle these through their false statements, but on the contrary there are very few among the Congress who defend it amply revealing that we are losing to the BJP in social media,” said Harish Rawat, calling upon the Congress workers to become more active in social media.
