Yogi Adityanath turns to development, allocates 2 districts to each minister

In another attempt at making an impressive administrative change as well as ensuring fast-paced development in the state, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday allocated 2 districts to each of his cabinet ministers and entrusted them with the responsibility of monitoring the entire process of development of their respective regions. State Power Minister Shrikant Sharma spoke about the move to PTI and said, “The measure has been taken to ensure development across Uttar Pradesh.” Sharma told reporters that the Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath had given his cabinet ministers independent charge of the districts with added responsibility of the development of said districts. Sharma informed the reporters that the remaining ministers of the Yogi Adityanath cabinet had also been entrusted with the responsibility of development in one district each.

Talking to PTI, Sharma said, “All of them have been asked to review the progress of their allocated districts with the local officials and the MLAs on regular intervals.” It must be noted that there are 75 districts in the state and Yogi Adityanath cabinet has 22 ministers, 9 ministers of state with independent charge and 13 ministers of state, besides 2 deputy chief ministers.
